She was also pleased to be featured in a tap solo choreographed by George Bohn and in a jazz solo she choreographed herself. “Tempus Fugit,” a group piece she choreographed, was also presented at a WT concert. More recently, her choreography was included in “Haunted River” at the Arneson River Theater. During her high school years, Julie performed with the Alamo City Dance Company and with Performing Arts San Antonio. Now, in addition to teaching and working with the competition team, Julie has organized a performance group at Dance Plus. During their first year, they performed at various Halloween venues, including the Arneson River Theatre. Their Easter show was canceled due to COVID, but she hopes the group will grow in the future. Julie began her training at Dance Plus when she was two years old, spent six years on their competition team, and is delighted to be back home at Dance Plus.
