Krista is a former Dance Plus student, competition team member and teacher.

Alycia Davis
Alycia Davis, a San Antonio native, began her dance training at the early age of 4 under the direction of Deborah Pamplin at Dance Plus where she studied a variety of dance styles including tap, jazz, ballet and pointe. This is also where she had the opportunity to begin her dance teaching training. From the age of 6-15, Alycia was a part of the Dance Plus competition team where she traveled across Texas participating in competitions and conventions placing high marks in both group and solo divisions. Some of the conventions included TATD and LA Dance Magic where she was awarded a scholarship for free admission to any of the LA Dance Magic conventions for a year. Through some of her middle school and high school years, Alycia was a part of the RPM Youth Tap Ensemble under the direction of Barbara Philips. While in RPM, Alycia had the privilege to attend some of America's biggest tap festivals including, The Chicago Human Rhythm Project, Austin's Soul to Sole Tap Festival, and San Antonio's own Third Coast Rhythm Project. Through RPM, Alycia was able to attend classes and learn choreography from some of the most well known tap dancers of today like the late Buster Cooper, Lane Alexander, Jason Samuel Smith, Lisa La Touche, Dianne Walker, Nicole Hockenberry, Jay Fagan, Derick Grant and many more. Alycia attended high school at the International School of the Americas (ISA) where she graduated Suma Cum Laude. While at ISA, she also attended the North East School of the Performing Arts (NESA) her freshman and sophomore year where she performed in their annual Christmas productions of Steppin' Into the Holidays and their spring concerts of Footnotes. In 2005, Alycia decided to pursue ballet more intently and moved her training to Ballet San Antonio Academy under the direction of Mayra Worthen. In 2007, Alycia had the honor of dancing with Ballet San Antonio's professional company as a trainee, where she performend in their annual production on The Nutcracker and their spring concers of Off Center. Upon graduation in 2009, Alycia moved to Jackson, Mississippi where she was accepted into Ballet Magnificat!'s Trainee Program under the direction of Keith and Kathy Thibodeaux. While dancing with Ballet Magnificat for three years, Alycia had the opportunity to participate in many outreach performance along with their annual productions of A Christmas Dream and Snow Queen. After graduating from the trainee program in 2012, Alycia married Jonathan Davis. Together, they were sent to Tegucigalpa, Honduras by Ballet Magnificat! as a part of their International Outreach program. There Alycia taught ballet in an arts studio to students ranging in age from 2 1/2 to 40 year old. Upon returning to the states in the spring of 2013, Alycia and her husband had their first baby, Lydia. Alycia is excited to be back and teaching at Dance Plus.
Kelly Mayton
Kelly graduated from Oklahoma City University with a BFA in Dance Performance. Right after graduation she began working for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. She has also performed at the Mary Kay Convention with Larrwell Productions in Dallas and in the Kirby VanBurch Magic Show in Branson, MO.
Jana Matthews
Jana Matthews began her dance training at Dance Plus at the age of four, and the studio holds special memories for her. Jana is now a professional dancer who has danced from coast to coast. Most recently, she has performed at various theme parks, including Holiday World (IN), Six Flags Darien Lake (NY), Sea World San Antonio and Six Flags Fiesta Texas. During a stint in California, Jana was a member of the Nanette Brodie Dance Theater and danced in a show with Mindy Copeland’s Tap Overload. She also spent three summers as a featured dancer in the outdoor musical drama TEXAS at Palo Duro Canyon. Jana has performed as a magician’s assistant on Disney Cruise Lines and in Las Vegas. In her spare time, she occasionally models and DJs for dance parties. Jana earned a BFA in dance from West Texas A&M University in 2016. During those years, Jana was especially proud of her “Silent Night” dance video made for GLO at Victory Church in Amarillo and of her WTAMU solos “Texting and Driving” and “Material Things.” She also had great fun dancing in an Amarillo College commercial, which began airing in July 2014. Jana continues to teach as she is able and to choreograph for herself and her students. Someday she may settle down in a dance company. . . but not yet. Soli Deo Gloria.

Julie Matthews
After several years away from San Antonio, Julie Matthews has returned to teach and work with the competition teams at Dance Plus. During her time away, Julie earned a BFA in dance from West Texas A&M University. She also accumalated several years of professional dance experience. She danced with the Amarillo Opera and was a featured dancer and swing for three seasons of TEXAS! The Outdoor Musical at Palo Duro Canyon State Park. While attending WTAMU, Julie was featured in a group piece that won honors at the American College Dance Association regional conference. She was also pleased to be featured in a tap solo choreographed by George Bohn and in a jazz solo she choreographed herself. “Tempus Fugit,” a group piece she choreographed, was also presented at a WT concert. More recently, her choreography was included in “Haunted River” at the Arneson River Theater. The works were performed by a Dance Plus performance group Julie has recently started. Julie is delighted to be back home at Dance Plus.
Brooke Garner
Brooke has been a Dance Plus employee since 2013 and a student at Dance Plus for over 15 years. She was a member of the Dance Plus competition team for 11 years. Brooke was a 3 year member of her hig school dance team serving as Lt. Colonel and Colonel her junior and senior years. Brooke graduated from Samuel Clemens High School in June 2014 and is attended McLennan Community College on a dance scholarship.
Christian Johnson
Christian has been a student at Dance Plus for over 10 years. She was a member of the Dance Plus competition team for 6 years. Christain was a 4 year member of her hig school dance team serving as Colonel and her junior and senior years. Christian graduated from Madison High School in June and is currently attending McLennan Community College on a dance scholarship.
Lindsey Pamplin
Lindsey has been a Dance Plus employee since 2011. She has 15 years dance training and has been a member of the Dance Plus Competition Team for 8 years. Lindsey has performed with Alamo City Dance Company and PASA. Lindsey is currently attending West Texas A & M.
Larah Pamplin
Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Larah Pamplin is now a
dancer and teacher in New York City. She is entering her senior
year of Pace University’s BFA Commercial Dance Program under
the direction of Rhonda Miller. She has been studying under
teachers such as Joey Dowling and Scott Jovovich. Larah has
assisted choreographers such as Rhonda Miller, Michael Rooney
and Jackie Sleight. Some of Larah’s performance experience
includes, the New York Film Academy and New York City Salon.
Larah is a co-founder/choreographer of the choreographic dance
show EMERGENCE in New York. You may have seen Larah
perform at half time during many San Antonio Spurs and Silver
Star games. Entering her last year of college, Larah hopes to be
able to share her knowledge of the industry with young students.
Erin Bochniak
Erin is a former student of Dance Plus and and was a part of the Churchill High School dance program for four years. She was an officer for the pep squad and was part of the varsity team the "Lancer Dancers" for her senior year. Erin is currently teaching at Reagan High School and will be working with their Pep Squad. Erin was a Teacher at Dance Plus from 2011 until summer 2015.
